Easy Installation Office Chair
The steps for easily installing an office chair are as follows:

Install the wheels
Align the wheels with the mounting holes on the chair legs or the five-star base, and press firmly to secure them in place. Some wheels are designed to rotate 360 degrees horizontally; after installation, check to ensure they rotate smoothly. If there is a snap-fit structure where the wheels connect to the chair legs, ensure the snaps are fully engaged to prevent loosening.Install the gas lift
Insert the gas lift vertically into the hole at the center of the five-star base, ensuring the bottom fully contacts the hole's base. If the chair is designed with the gas lift separate from the base, align the top of the gas lift with the base sleeve and press down slowly until fully seated. After installation, gently press on the seat to test if the gas lift's height adjustment function works properly.Connect the seat and backrest
- Method 1: Remove the seat and backrest, align the bottom of the backrest with the mounting holes at the rear of the seat, and secure with three M8 screws. When tightening the screws, do so in a cross-pattern to avoid tilting the backrest due to unilateral force.
- Method 2: If the backrest has an independent support structure, first install the backrest support, then slip the backrest mesh onto the support and secure the edges of the mesh with screws. Adjust the tension of the mesh to ensure it is flat and wrinkle-free.
Install the armrests
Align the armrests with the mounting holes on both sides of the seat and secure with screws. Before installation, confirm the direction of the armrests (usually marked with โLโ and โRโ labels) to avoid installing them backward. After tightening the screws, check if the armrests are level and test their stability by shaking them.Install the footrest (optional)
If the chair is equipped with a footrest, insert it into the dedicated hole or slot beneath the seat until you hear a โclickโ indicating the snap-fit is in place. Some footrests may require length or angle adjustments; after installation, adjust to a comfortable position according to your needs.Install the headrest
Align the bottom of the headrest with the mounting slot at the top of the backrest and press firmly until fully seated. If the headrest needs to be fixed with a mounting plate, first secure the mounting plate to the backrest with screws, then insert the headrest into the mounting plate's slot.Other decorative components
Some chairs may require additional installation of trays, decorative buttons, or backrest diamond plates. The tray is usually snapped onto the bottom of the seat, decorative buttons are pressed into place aligned with the holes, and diamond plates are secured to the rear of the backrest with snaps or screws. After installation, check that all components are secure and that no sharp edges are exposed.
Precautions: Avoid using excessive force during installation to prevent damage to components; tighten screws with moderate force, as over-tightening may cause plastic parts to crack; after installation, conduct a comprehensive check of the chair's stability to ensure there is no looseness or abnormal noise.
