Drawing Simple Office Chairs

Admin October 16, 2026

Here are several methods for drawing simple office chairs:

Method 1: Simple Office Chair with Decorations

  1. Chair Surface Drawing: First, draw an arc. This arc represents the edge contour of the office chair's surface, reflecting its curved shape. Then, draw a semicircle below the arc, connected to it. The semicircle can be seen as the bottom shape of the chair surface. Next, draw a rectangle below the semicircle, connected to it, to represent the thickness of the chair surface.
  2. Chair Back Lines: Following the lines of the chair surface, draw similar lines at the back of the chair surface. These lines form the contour of the chair back, making it naturally connect with the chair surface.
  3. Chair Leg Drawing: Draw the four legs of the chair below the chair surface. The four legs should be evenly distributed to ensure the stability of the chair. You can also draw two shorter legs exposed at the back to simulate the partial structure that might be seen at the back of the chair.
  4. Decoration Addition: Finally, draw some decorations on the chair, such as lace, wavy lines, and small circles. The lace can be drawn on the edge of the chair surface, the wavy lines can be added to positions like the chair back, and the small circles can be used as decorative embellishments to make the chair look more beautiful.

Method 2: Simple Office Chair in the Form of Letter Combinations

  1. Letter Writing: First, write two letters 'h'. These two 'h's should be of appropriate size and close to each other. They will serve as the foundation of the chair's support structure.
  2. Connecting Lines: Draw 4 diagonal straight lines to connect the two 'h's. These 4 diagonal straight lines simulate the chair legs and connecting parts of the chair, forming the basic framework of the chair.
  3. Chair Back Arc: Draw an arc above the two 'h's. The arc should be natural and smooth, representing the chair back of the chair, providing a place for the user to lean on.
  4. Coloring and Completion: Finally, color the drawn chair. You can choose different colors according to your personal preference to make the chair more vivid and lifelike.

Method 3: Simple Office Chair in the Form of Simple Geometric Figure Combinations

  1. Chair Surface Drawing: First, draw a large circle. This large circle represents the chair surface of the office chair, which is where the user sits.
  2. Chair Back Addition: Connect an arc beside the circle. One end of the arc is connected to the circle, and the other end curves naturally, simulating the shape of the chair back.
  3. Chair Leg Drawing: Add three sticks below the large circle. These three sticks represent the three legs of the chair. Ensure that they are reasonably distributed to support the chair surface.
  4. Backrest Completion: Add a semicircle on one side, connected to the arc, to further complete the shape of the chair back and make it look more comfortable.
