Dormitory Office Chair Assembly
The assembly of a dormitory office chair can be carried out according to the following steps:

Step 1: Install the chair wheels and gas lift
Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-star base one by one, ensuring that each wheel is fully seated in the hole. After completion, flip the five-star base so that the wheels face downward. Align the thicker end of the gas lift with the center hole of the five-star base, place it vertically, and gently press down to ensure a secure connection between the gas lift and the base. Pay attention to the orientation of the gas lift in this step; the thicker end is the bottom, and the thinner end is the top.
Step 2: Secure the base plate to the seat cushion
Place the base plate on the bottom of the seat cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the base plate (usually marked or with grooves corresponding to the seat cushion structure). After aligning the four screw holes of the base plate with those of the seat cushion, screw in the four B screws 3-4 turns one by one to avoid positional deviation caused by tightening them all at once. Then, tighten the screws one by one to ensure a firm connection between the base plate and the seat cushion. In this step, check that the base plate is level to avoid tilting during subsequent installation.
Step 3: Connect the seat cushion to the gas lift
Align the bottom of the assembled seat cushion with the top of the gas lift and insert it vertically until the base plate hole fully encloses the gas lift. Maintain balance of the seat cushion during insertion to prevent damage to the gas lift due to uneven force. After insertion, gently press down on the seat cushion to test its stability and ensure there is no looseness or wobbling.
Step 4: Install the backrest
Align the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation holes on both sides of the seat cushion and insert them vertically until the bottom fully contacts the seat cushion frame. First, use two C screws to pass through the holes from the bottom of the armrest frame to secure the connection between the bottom of the backrest and the armrest frame. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the corresponding holes on the seat cushion frame and use two wrenches in combination with D screws for lock-to-lock fixation (one hand holds the wrench steady, and the other hand rotates the screw) to ensure a firm connection between the backrest and the seat cushion frame.
Step 5: Install the armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface (some models require pressing), align the left and right armrests with the holes on the armrest frame respectively, and insert them vertically until the bottom catches are fully engaged. After insertion, gently shake the armrests to test their stability and ensure there is no looseness or abnormal noise.
Step 6: Secure the headrest
Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest and press down on the headrest installation area to make it fit snugly against the backrest. Pass two E screws through the holes of the headrest fixing clip and screw them into the preset screw holes at the top of the backrest. Similarly, screw them in 3-4 turns first to adjust the position, and then tighten the screws one by one to ensure the headrest is stable and does not wobble.
Precautions:
- Avoid using excessive force during the assembly process to prevent damage to parts or screw stripping.
- Regularly check the tightness of the screws, especially during the initial period of use, to prevent looseness and potential safety hazards.
- If the holes do not align or parts get stuck, re-examine the steps and avoid forcing the assembly.
