Dongfeng Office Chair

Admin October 09, 2026

The Dongfeng Office Chair is an AI zero-pressure cloud-blanket office chair developed by Dongfeng Nissan based on the N7 seat technology, launched in July 2025. Its core features cover multiple dimensions including technology, functionality, materials, and market positioning.

In terms of technological configuration, this office chair fully replicates the in-car version's technology, equipped with an electronic skin system composed of 49 sensors and 19 smart airbags. It achieves dynamic enveloping support through an adaptive posture AI algorithm. The sensors can capture changes in sitting posture within 0.3 seconds, and the AI algorithm compares data with Nissan's Spinal Ergonomics Database to drive the airbags for adjustments, ensuring precise matching of support force with the body's curves.

Regarding functional design, it supports 14-way electric adjustment (including backrest, seat cushion, side wings, and leg rest) and allows users to save personal preferences via a mini-program to create a 'thousand-people, thousand-chairs' memory library. It is equipped with a 12-point SPA-level massage system covering four major areas: waist, back, shoulders, and hips, and features dual-zone ventilation and heating functions (independent temperature control for the seat cushion and backrest). The dynamic side-wing clamping and seat cushion extension functions, derived from the N7 car seat, automatically adjust the enveloping feel according to sitting posture changes. Additionally, for office scenarios, it includes a charging module (5-hour battery life on a single charge) and adjustable armrests (2-level height adjustment), supporting multi-mode switching between 'office, lunch break, and meditation'.

In terms of materials and safety, it uses an exclusive material with a micron-level coagulated lipid sphere structure, densely covered with 50-200 micron water droplet-shaped coagulated lipid particles on the surface, offering a touch similar to a blend of silk and latex, with stain resistance improved by 300% compared to traditional leather. It has passed 28 maternal and child-grade safety tests, with heavy metal content 60% below the national standard and formaldehyde emission controlled within 0.01mg/mยณ, ensuring long-term healthy use.

Regarding its R&D background and market positioning, this product originates from the seat technology of the Tianyan architecture all-electric sedan N7. After three years of development, it breaks through the traditional 'standard dummy' testing model and shifts to a 'real-person coverage' development concept, optimizing comfort through real user body data. Dubbed a 'million-dollar sofa', it markets itself with the selling point of 'the more you sit, the more comfortable it becomes'. The first batch of products has been installed in the offices of several media outlets, with user tests showing a 55% improvement in waist pressure dispersion efficiency, marking an ecological extension of automotive technology into lifestyle scenarios.
