Desk and Chair - Office Chair

Admin October 08, 2026

Office chairs can be divided into three main categories based on their core types and applicable scenarios: executive chairs, staff chairs, and ergonomic chairs.

Executive chairs represent high-end office settings and are commonly found in the private offices of general managers or chairpersons. Their design focuses on business receptions and short-term office work, emphasizing a combination of presence and comfort. They are often wrapped in top-grain cowhide, filled with high-density foam inside, and have a metal frame. Their load-bearing capacity generally exceeds 150 kilograms, and their height can reach over 90 centimeters. This design not only enhances the grade of the office space but also meets the needs of senior managers for long-term sitting through soft seating and support.

Staff chairs serve the workstations of employees in open office areas, guided by cost control and basic functionality. Their materials are mainly mesh fabric or PU, emphasizing lightness and breathability, suitable for long-term use without becoming stuffy. They are only equipped with basic gas lift adjustment in terms of functionality. The design goal is to provide basic sitting support for most employees within limited space and budget, meeting the needs of daily eight-hour work. These chairs usually have a simple structure and are easy to assemble, suitable for large-scale deployment.

Ergonomic chairs are a professional category designed for the needs of long-term desk work, with their core advantage being multi-dimensional adjustment functions. The lumbar support, seat depth, armrests, and recline angle can all be dynamically adjusted according to the user's body shape and sitting posture to relieve lumbar and cervical spine pressure. Some high-end models are also equipped with gravity-sensing sitting posture reminders and waterfall-edge seat cushion designs to further optimize the sitting experience. Their price range is wide, covering basic models from several hundred yuan to high-end models up to eight thousand yuan, suitable for professional groups such as programmers and designers who need to maintain a fixed posture for a long time.

In addition, the installation methods of office chairs vary by model. For example, the 1011A office chair requires steps such as inserting screws, placing washers, and fixing the seat armrests to complete assembly. Users must strictly follow the instructions to ensure stability. When choosing an office chair, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the usage scenario, budget, and health needs to avoid affecting the user experience due to redundant or insufficient functions.
