Department-Level Office Chair
According to the 'General Office Furniture Allocation Standards for Provincial Administrative Institutions (2021 Edition)', the allocation standards for department-level office chairs are as follows:

I. Price Ceiling
The price ceiling for department-level office chairs is 1,500 yuan per chair. This standard specifies the maximum price limit for procurement, aiming to control administrative costs and avoid over-allocation. During actual procurement, products that meet functional requirements and do not exceed the price ceiling must be selected to ensure compliant use of funds.
II. Physical Quantity Standards
The number of office chairs that can be allocated to department-level personnel is 2 chairs per person. This standard is set based on actual office needs, such as regular use and backup requirements in the office. However, it should be noted that the total number must not exceed 50% of the actual number of department-level personnel on the unit's establishment. For example, if there are 10 department-level personnel on the unit's establishment, the total number of office chairs must not exceed 5 (10 people ร 50%). This restriction prevents resource idleness or over-allocation.
III. Service Life Standards
The service life of department-level office chairs is 15 years. This standard is formulated based on the durability and economy of the furniture, requiring that it not be replaced arbitrarily before reaching the service life. If the chair is damaged beyond repair or affects normal use, it must be updated after approval through the asset disposal process to ensure the standardization of asset management.
IV. Scope and Significance of the Standards
The above standards apply to provincial administrative institutions and aim to regulate office furniture allocation through quantitative indicators, avoiding extravagance and waste while ensuring basic office needs. The clear provisions on price, quantity, and service life reflect the rigor of administrative management and comply with the principle of efficient use of public resources.
V. Implementation and Supervision
Units must strictly follow the standards for procurement and allocation, and the finance, audit, and asset management departments should strengthen supervision to ensure compliance with the process. For over-allocation or unauthorized raising of standards, responsibility must be pursued in accordance with laws and regulations to maintain the authority of the system.
Through these standards, the allocation of department-level office chairs can be standardized and transparent, balancing functional requirements with cost control, and improving the efficiency of administrative resource use.
