The installation and disassembly tutorial for Deli office chairs is as follows:

Installation Tutorial

Deli 4901S Staff Mesh Chair:

  1. Prepare Components: Ensure all accessories are complete in advance, including the backrest, armrests, seat, gas lift, chair base, chassis, and wheels.
  2. Install Chair Base and Gas Lift: Insert the five wheels into the holes on the chair base one by one, ensuring the clips are fully engaged; then vertically insert the gas lift into the center hole of the chair base and gently press it down to the bottom to secure it.
  3. Install Armrests: Align the armrests with the holes on both sides of the seat, and use two M6ร—25mm screws to fix one armrest, repeating the process for the other side.
  4. Secure Seat: Use four M6ร—30mm screws with washers to connect the seat to the chassis, ensuring the screws are tightened until there is no looseness.
  5. Overall Assembly: Align the assembled seat part with the top of the gas lift and slowly press down until the gas lift fully supports the seat, completing the assembly.

Deli KF229 Ergonomic Chair:

  1. Headrest Installation: First, remove the two fixing screws at the top edge of the backrest, align the headrest with the backrest connector from above, and press it down until the clip is in place; finally, use the screws to re-fix the connection between the headrest and the backrest.

Disassembly Tutorial (Taking Wheels as an Example)

  1. Preparation: Prepare needle-nose pliers, a Phillips screwdriver, a plastic pry bar, or a rubber mallet. Avoid using metal tools to directly strike the chair base to prevent damage.
  2. Identify Wheel Type:
    • Snap-ring Wheels: There are no screws at the connection between the wheel and the chair base, and they are fixed by metal snap rings or plastic clips.
    • Screw-type Wheels: There is a Phillips screw at the center of the wheel, and some screws may be covered by plastic caps, which need to be removed first.
  3. Disassembly Method:
    • Snap-ring Wheels: Use needle-nose pliers to grip the metal bushing or plastic part connecting the top of the wheel to the chair base, and pry it outward with the edge of the chair base as a fulcrum while rotating the wheel counterclockwise; if the wheel is too tight, you can lightly tap the side or connection of the wheel with a rubber mallet to assist in loosening.
    • Screw-type Wheels: Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw at the center of the wheel counterclockwise. After the screw is completely removed, pull the wheel straight up; if the screw is rusted, you can drip a small amount of lubricating oil to assist in disassembly.

Precautions: During installation, ensure all screws are tightened until there is no looseness to avoid chair wobbling; when disassembling wheels, select tools according to the type. Forcing a pull may cause damage to the wheels or the chair base.
