Deli Office Chair Caster Wheels
The disassembly of Deli office chair caster wheels requires selecting the appropriate tools and methods based on the fixing method. The common structures are divided into two types: snap-ring wheels and screw-mounted wheels. Here are the specific operation steps and precautions:

Snap-ring wheels (without screw fixing)
These wheels are directly snapped into the axle hole of the chair base with a metal snap ring. For disassembly, use needle-nose pliers as the main tool. First, flip the chair over steadily so that the five-star base faces upwards and place it on a stable surface, ensuring ample operating space and sufficient lighting. Use the needle-nose pliers to grip the metal bushing or plastic part connecting the top of the wheel to the base of the five-star base. With the plastic edge of the five-star base as the fulcrum, pry and rotate the wheel counterclockwise while prying. If the wheel is too tightly fitted into the axle hole, you can use a rubber mallet to gently tap the side or the connection of the wheel to loosen the snap ring through vibration. Control the force during operation to avoid damaging the plastic structure of the chair base or deforming the wheel.
Screw-mounted wheels (with screw fixing)
These wheels have a cross screw in the center, and in some models, the screw may be covered by a small plastic cap. Before disassembly, use a plastic pry bar or your fingernail to pry open the plastic cap. After exposing the screw, use a cross screwdriver to rotate and unscrew it counterclockwise. Once the screw is completely loosened, hold the wheel with your hand and pull it straight upwards. If the wheel is too tightly adhered to the axle hole due to long-term use, you can slightly shake the wheel left and right to assist in separation. During operation, keep the screwdriver perpendicular to the screw to avoid slipping and damaging the threads.
Auxiliary tools and safety precautions
Before disassembly, it is recommended to prepare tools such as needle-nose pliers, a cross screwdriver, a plastic pry bar, and a rubber mallet. When operating, choose a hard floor to prevent the chair from sliding; if the chair base is made of plastic, control the force of tapping and prying to prevent cracking; after disassembly, check whether there are any foreign objects left in the axle hole for smooth fitting when installing new wheels. If the wheel cannot be disassembled due to aging, you can spray a small amount of lubricant (such as WD-40) onto the connection and wait for 5-10 minutes before trying again.
