Assembly of Deli Office Chair

Admin October 22, 2026

The assembly process of the Deli office chair should be carried out according to the specific model. Taking the 4901S model as an example, the steps can be divided into the following three parts:

1. Install the Chair Base and Gas Lift

The chair base is the fundamental structure that supports the entire chair, usually designed as a five-star base. First, install the casters one by one onto the five branches of the chair base, ensuring that the buckles or screws of each caster are firmly fixed to prevent loosening during subsequent use. After completing the caster installation, insert the gas lift vertically into the central hole of the chair base. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the chair's height. When inserting it, keep it vertical to avoid instability during installation or damage to the internal structure due to tilting. Some models of gas lifts may have anti-slip designs or fixing screws, and additional operations should be confirmed according to the instructions.

2. Assemble the Seat and Armrests

The seat directly bears the weight of the human body and needs to be installed in coordination with components such as the armrests and the seat pan. First, align the armrests with the reserved holes on both sides of the seat and fix one armrest with two M6ร—25mm screws. Note that the screws should penetrate the corresponding holes of the armrests and the seat, and use a screwdriver to tighten them to an appropriate degree to avoid over-tightening causing thread slippage or under-tightening causing wobbling. Install the other armrest in the same way. Then, align the seat with the seat pan and fix them with four M6ร—30mm screws equipped with washers. The function of the washers is to distribute pressure and prevent the screws from directly contacting the seat surface, causing wear. During installation, ensure that the washers are located between the screws and the seat.

3. Overall Assembly and Detail Adjustment

Align the assembled seat part (including the armrests and the seat pan) with the top of the gas lift, slowly lower it, and apply appropriate pressure to ensure that the connection between the gas lift and the seat pan is fully engaged. Some models of gas lifts may have indicator arrows or markings at the top, which should be aligned before insertion to avoid misalignment. After completing the overall assembly, check whether all components are firmly fixed: shake the chair to test the stability of the chair base and the gas lift, adjust the height or angle of the armrests (if adjustable), and sit on it to test whether the lifting function of the gas lift is normal. If any looseness or abnormal noise is found, re-check whether the screws are tightened or whether the components are aligned.

Precautions:

  1. Ball Installation: The balls of the Deli office chair (such as those in the casters or the gas lift) usually adopt a press-in design. No additional tools are required for installation. Simply press them into the slots, but ensure that the balls are fully embedded to avoid leaving gaps.
  2. Model Differences: Different models of chairs may have differences in screw specifications, hole designs, or assembly sequences. Always refer to the instructions to avoid mixing up accessories.
  3. Safe Operation: It is recommended to wear gloves during the installation process to prevent the screws or metal parts from scratching your fingers. If electric tools are required, control the speed to avoid damaging the plastic parts.
