Corner Office Chair Installation

Admin October 11, 2026

The installation of a corner office chair can be carried out by referring to the following general office chair installation steps:

I. Preliminary Preparation After unpacking, carefully count the number of accessories to check for any missing parts. This is a fundamental step in the installation process. If any accessories are missing, subsequent installation will not proceed smoothly. At the same time, prepare the necessary tools for installation, such as screwdrivers.

II. Installing the Base There are two common installation methods. One is to install the casters onto the metal frame by pressing them in firmly to ensure they are securely attached, and then place the hydraulic rod into the empty space in the middle of the metal frame. The other method is to install from the bottom up, first attaching the wheels to the chair legs, and then vertically inserting the pneumatic rod into the center of the chair legs. During installation, pay attention to the installation direction and position of each component to ensure accurate installation.

III. Installing the Adjustment Lever Components According to the directions in the diagram or the instruction manual, install the adjustment lever components on the back of the seat surface and tighten the screws. For some office chairs, the base is fixed to the seat with screws. In either case, ensure that the screws are tightened so that the adjustment lever components or the base are firmly connected to the seat.

IV. Connecting the Backrest and Armrests Connect the backrest and armrests with screws, but be careful not to fully tighten the screws at this stage. This is because further overall adjustments and fastening will be required later. If the screws are fully tightened from the beginning, it may cause inconvenience for subsequent operations.

V. Securing the Armrests and Backrest The armrests that are not fully tightened can be snapped onto the seat cushion board and fixed with long screws. After securing the position, tighten the screws, and also tighten the screws on the backrest. This step ensures that the armrests and backrest are firmly installed and will not become loose during use.

VI. Overall Assembly Align the installed seat part and place it on the hydraulic rod; or vertically insert the base onto the pneumatic rod, and finally install the armrests and headrest. During installation, do not fully tighten some of the screws initially. For example, when installing a 945 swivel chair, use short screws in the first step and do not fully tighten some of the screws for now. After all the screws are uniformly tightened, slightly loosen the screws on both sides at this location. After the overall installation is complete and the position is adjusted, fully tighten all the screws.

If you encounter any problems during the installation process, refer to the instruction manual or consult a professional.
