Computer Chair and Office Chair Assembly

The steps for assembling a computer chair and office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the chair base and casters
Place the five-star base upside down and insert the five casters into the corresponding holes on the base one by one, ensuring each caster is properly installed. Then, insert the gas lift (the thicker end) vertically into the center hole of the five-star base and gently press it down until it is fully secured. For some models, you may need to install the casters onto the base first and then insert the gas lift into the center of the base. Adjust the order according to the specific model.

Step 2: Install components related to the seat

• Armrest installation: Align the armrests with the screw holes on both sides of the seat cushion and secure them with 8 large screws. Note that the sewn side of the armrest padding is the rear end. Make sure to confirm the correct front-to-back orientation of the seat cushion during installation.
• Tray installation: Align the tray with the screw holes on the bottom of the seat cushion, secure it with 4 large screws, and tighten them with a wrench. Then, insert the gas lift into the center hole of the tray, ensuring vertical alignment. For some models, the base plate may be directly screwed onto the seat cushion. Refer to the instruction manual for adjustments.

Step 3: Install components related to the backrest

• Recliner mechanism installation: First, unscrew the reserved screws on both sides of the backrest, align the recliner mechanism with the screw holes on the backrest, and secure it with the reserved screws and tighten them. Then, unscrew the reserved screws on both sides of the seat cushion, align the recliner mechanism and the backrest as a whole with the holes on the seat cushion, and secure them again with the reserved screws and tighten them.
• Decorative cover installation: Connect the decorative covers of the seat cushion and the backrest with 4 small screws, tighten them, and then snap on the side caps to ensure a flat appearance.

Step 4: Install the headrest
Align the magnetic headrest with the top of the backrest and gently attach it. For some models, you may need to install the headrest and armrests last. Adjust the order according to the model.

Step 5: Overall assembly
Vertically insert the base with the assembled seat, armrests, backrest, and other components onto the gas lift, ensuring a secure connection. For some models, such as the DJ-22 computer chair, pay attention to the position of the tray's height adjustment lever (on the right side when seated) to avoid reverse installation.

Precautions:

1. The assembly details of different models of computer chairs may vary, such as the number of screws, component positions, or installation order. Always refer to the product instruction manual.
2. Use the provided tools (such as a wrench) during installation and ensure all screws are tightened to avoid safety hazards caused by looseness.
