Company Office Chair Recline
The use and adjustment methods of the recline function of company office chairs vary depending on the specific model, and common methods can be divided into the following three categories:

I. Multi-position Adjustment of Ergonomic Chairs
Some high-end ergonomic chairs (such as Qingxian Pro) support multi-position recline functions and are usually equipped with clear position indicators and damping adjustment devices. Taking Qingxian Pro as an example, it offers three-position adjustments: 105 degrees for upright sitting, 125 degrees for working, and 160 degrees for extreme recline angles. Paired with a detachable footrest, it can be temporarily used as a nap bed. To adjust, first locate the position lock button on the side of the chair back, press it, and slowly recline to the desired angle, then release the button to secure it. If you need to adjust the recline damping force (i.e., the resistance during reclining), you can use the knob or lever under the seat to make adjustments. Turning it clockwise increases the resistance, while turning it counterclockwise decreases it, to accommodate different body weights or usage habits.
II. Single Recline Adjustment of Ordinary Office Chairs
Most ordinary office chairs use a mechanical recline structure, and the adjustment method is relatively simple. Users need to first locate the adjuster at the bottom of the chair back (usually a plastic or metal lever or knob), pull up the adjuster while applying backward pressure to tilt the chair back to the desired angle, then release the adjuster to secure the chair back. To return to an upright sitting position, pull up the adjuster again and lean the chair back forward. This type of adjustment method has no position restrictions, but the recline angle and resistance usually cannot be adjusted separately, and users need to find a comfortable position through repeated trials.
III. Solutions for Malfunctioning Recline Functions
If the recline function of an office chair does not work, the locking mechanism may have been accidentally activated. Some chairs have hidden locking buttons (such as push-in or rotary types) on the chair back or armrests. You need to pull the button out or rotate it to the unlocked position, then adjust the angle as described above; after adjustment, push the button back in or rotate it to the locked position to secure the angle. If the adjuster or locking device is damaged, contact after-sales service to replace the parts, and avoid forcing operations that may cause further damage to the structure.
Precautions: When adjusting the recline function, it is recommended to sit on the chair and apply force evenly to avoid tilting the chair back due to unilateral force; after long-term use, regularly check the tightness of the adjuster to prevent looseness that may cause safety hazards.
