Cleaning Fabric Office Chairs

Admin October 12, 2026

You can follow these steps to clean fabric office chairs:

First, use a vacuum cleaner for initial cleaning. The surface of fabric office chairs is prone to accumulating dust and dirt, especially in hard-to-reach areas like the seams. At this point, you can use a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean the entire chair surface, removing most of the dust and debris. For tiny crevices that the vacuum cleaner cannot reach, you can use a brush (such as a toothbrush) to gently scrub and loosen the dirt trapped inside and then clean it out. This step is the foundation for cleaning fabric office chairs and can effectively reduce the difficulty of subsequent cleaning.

Next, choose an appropriate cleaning agent for deep cleaning. For stubborn stains on fabric office chairs, you can select a cleaning agent containing deep-cleaning factors. Spray the cleaning agent on the dirty areas and then use a brush to scrub back and forth a few times. You don't need to scrub hard to easily remove the stains. If the stains are more severe, you can also spray carpet cleaner on the seat and use a brush to work the cleaner into the seat material for deep cleaning. This step can thoroughly remove stains from fabric office chairs and restore their original cleanliness.

Finally, use a dry, absorbent fiber towel for wiping. After scrubbing with the cleaning agent, you need to use a dry, absorbent fiber towel to wipe the seat clean. When wiping, make sure to reach those hard-to-access areas, such as the seams and corners of the chair, to completely remove any remaining moisture and cleaning agent. This step can prevent moisture retention from causing the chair to mold or develop odors while keeping the chair dry and comfortable.
