Chivas Office Chair Disassembly

Admin October 09, 2026

There is no unified standard procedure for disassembling Chivas office chairs, as different models have structural differences. The following provides reference steps for disassembling a similar iron frame of a Chivas dining chair:

Prepare Tools

Before starting to disassemble the Chivas office chair, you need to prepare the appropriate tools. A cross-head screwdriver and a wrench are basic and commonly used tools. The cross-head screwdriver is used to remove screws, while the wrench is used to loosen and remove some tight nuts or components. Depending on the specific structure of the chair, other tools such as an Allen wrench may also be required, but in general, a cross-head screwdriver and a wrench can meet most disassembly needs.

Disassemble the Seat

Turn the chair upside down so that the legs are facing upwards. This makes it easier to see the structure beneath the seat. Use a cross-head screwdriver to locate the screws beneath the seat that are used to attach the seat to the chair frame. Remove all the screws securing the seat in order. During the disassembly process, pay attention to the specifications and positions of the screws to avoid confusion. Once all the screws are removed, use a wrench to gently remove the seat and take it off. If there are other connecting components between the seat and the chair frame, such as clips, handle them carefully to avoid damage.

Disassemble the Leg Base

Turn the iron frame, from which the seat has been removed, upside down again. Now you can see the leg base. The screws on the leg base are usually located around the perimeter of the base. Use a cross-head screwdriver to remove these screws one by one. When removing the screws, be mindful of the force applied to avoid stripping the screws. Once all the screws are removed, use a wrench to gently remove the base. If the base is stuck or adhered to the iron frame, do not force it. First, check if there are any unremoved screws or other connecting components, or gently shake the base to loosen it before disassembly.

Disassemble Other Parts

After completing the above steps, if further disassembly of other parts of the iron frame, such as the backrest or armrests, is required, proceed according to the specific situation. The disassembly methods and tools used for different parts may vary. Before disassembly, carefully observe the connection methods between the components and select the appropriate tools and methods for disassembly. During the disassembly process, be sure to keep the removed screws, nuts, and other small components safe to avoid loss.
