Characteristics of Office Chairs
The characteristics of office chairs are mainly reflected in four aspects: type and function, material properties, adjustment functions, and health and safety.

In terms of type and function, office chairs come in a variety of types to meet different scenario requirements. Ergonomic chairs are designed to address fatigue from prolonged sitting. Their headrests, lumbar supports, and armrests can be adjusted in multiple directions, providing precise support for the cervical and lumbar vertebrae and effectively alleviating discomfort caused by long periods of sitting. Ordinary swivel chairs have relatively basic functions, offering only height adjustment and rotation capabilities, suitable for simple office scenarios with low comfort requirements. Mesh chairs use high-density breathable mesh fabric, which promotes air circulation and reduces sweat accumulation. Some models feature waterfall-edge seat cushions that reduce pressure on the thighs. Executive chairs focus on presence and texture, often featuring solid wood frames and high backrests, integrating high-end configurations, and are suitable for management or important reception occasions.
Regarding material properties, there is a wide range of seat materials. Soft leathers, including synthetic and genuine leathers, require a soft feel, wear resistance, and light resistance. Hard leathers are mostly made of PVC material, which has cold-resistant and crack-resistant properties, suitable for use in cold regions. Fabric or mesh seat surfaces need to pass strength and seam strength tests to ensure durability. Frame materials are mostly electroplated or spray-painted iron pipes, which can provide a stable support structure.
Adjustment functions are an important characteristic of high-quality office chairs. A seat height of 40 - 44 centimeters is appropriate to meet the needs of people of different heights. Armrests can be adjusted up and down, allowing users to find comfortable support positions in different work postures. The headrest can rotate to better fit the neck. The dynamic lumbar support can adjust the support point according to the movement of the waist, providing personalized lumbar support.
In terms of health and safety, some office chairs are designed to assist in stretching exercises, such as hip joint stretching and lower back relaxation, which help relieve physical discomfort caused by prolonged sitting. In addition, the gas lift should be equipped with an explosion-proof steel plate to avoid safety hazards caused by quality issues with the gas lift and ensure the safety of users.
