Chair Office Chair Repair
The repair methods for office chairs vary depending on the type of damage. Here are the repair steps for common issues:

If an office chair leans to one side, a comprehensive inspection is required first. Place the chair upright and upside down to observe whether the wheels are uneven and ensure that each wheel foot is in contact with the ground. Turn the chair upside down and carefully check the wheel feet for signs of damage. If the wheels are damaged, purchase a set of new wheels that match the original ones for replacement. When removing old casters, in most cases, they can be pulled out by hand directly. If they get stuck, a flat-head screwdriver can be used as a lever. For a very small number of wheels fixed with screws, use a screwdriver to loosen the screws and then remove them. Apply a small amount of spray lubricant, such as WD - 40, to each chair base socket. If there is no spray lubricant, a pea-sized amount of petroleum jelly can be applied to the axle of each wheel. After that, use a rubber mallet to tap each caster into its corresponding chair socket. After installation, turn the chair over and test whether the new wheels are working properly. If the chair still leans, continue to check whether the seat plate is damaged.
For minor abrasions on the back of a leather executive chair, the repair steps are relatively simple. First, use a multi-purpose cleaner to clean the damaged area, removing dirt and impurities from the surface to prepare for subsequent repair work.
In addition, there are some more complex repair situations. For example, if the chair armrests are missing, the screw holes for the armrests are missing, or the wood is broken, these problems usually require the chair to be disassembled for repair. For broken wood, straighten the broken piece. If it cannot be repaired, replace it with a new one. If the armrests are missing, it may be necessary to duplicate the missing armrests to ensure they match the style and size of the original chair. During the repair process, pay attention to the installation positions and connection methods of each component to ensure that the repaired chair is structurally stable and safe to use. After the repair is completed, conduct a comprehensive inspection and test of the chair to ensure that all its functions are normal.
