CEO Office Chair Disassembly and Assembly
The disassembly and assembly of a CEO office chair must be carried out strictly according to the steps to ensure safety and the integrity of the components.

I. Disassembly Steps
Flip the Chair
Turn the chair upside down so that the seat faces downward and the legs face upward, facilitating operations on the bottom structure. Ensure that the ground is level to prevent the chair from sliding or tipping over during this step.Remove Screws and Nuts
Use a screwdriver and a wrench to unscrew all the fixing screws and nuts in sequence, and remove the washers and spring clips. Note: Screws should be stored separately to avoid confusion or loss.Extract the Support Rod
After removing the screws, gently pull out the support rod of the chair. If the support rod is tightly connected to the seat, you can lightly tap along the bottom steel ring with a rubber mallet to assist in separation.Separate the Hydraulic Cylinder
Lightly tap the connection between the hydraulic cylinder and the seat with a rubber mallet to loosen it and then separate it. Avoid using a metal hammer to prevent damage to the paint layer or internal structure of the hydraulic cylinder.Remove the Casters
Directly pull out the casters on the chair legs by hand or with a tool. If the wheels are stuck, gently shake them left and right and then slowly pull them out. Do not forcefully pull them to avoid breaking the wheel axles.Handle Special Components
- Electric Function Chairs: Disconnect the connecting wires between the backrest and the seat, and mark the positions of the wire interfaces to avoid incorrect connections during assembly.
- Gas Cylinder Connected to the Seat: Tap along the bottom steel ring of the gas cylinder with a rubber mallet. When the gap widens, pry apart the connection between the seat and the gas cylinder.
II. Assembly Steps (Reverse Operations)
Install the Casters and Chair Legs
Insert the casters into the holes on the chair legs, ensuring that the catches are secure. If the wheels are loose, gently press or rotate them to adjust them to a stable state.Fix the Base to the Seat
Place the base on the bottom of the seat and tighten the fixing screws with a screwdriver. Note: The screws should be tightened crosswise to prevent the base from tilting.Connect the Backrest to the Seat
Align the screw holes of the backrest and the seat, insert the screws, and tighten them. If the backrest is adjustable in angle, check whether the adjustment mechanism is flexible.Install the Gas Cylinder and the Base Plate
Insert the gas cylinder vertically into the center hole of the base plate, ensuring that the bottom is fully in contact with the ground. Avoid tilted installation, as it may cause the chair to wobble.Install Other Components
- Armrests and Headrests: Fix them with screws at the marked positions and adjust them to a comfortable angle.
- Electric Function Chairs: Reconnect the wires and test the ventilation, heating, massage, and other functions by powering on.
III. Precautions
- Mark the Positions of Components: Use labels or take photos to record the order of components during disassembly to avoid omissions or misplacements during assembly.
- Use Tools Properly: Preferably use a rubber mallet to prevent metal tools from scratching the seat surface or the hydraulic cylinder.
- Handle Complex Structures: For precision components such as electric adjustments and gas cylinders, it is advisable to refer to the instruction manual or contact a professional for operation.
- Store Small Parts Properly: Put small parts such as screws and nuts into sealed bags to prevent loss or mixing with foreign objects.
