Admin October 12, 2026

To draw an office chair icon in CDR, follow these steps:

First, draw the backrest. Open the CDR software and locate the Rectangle Tool in the toolbar. Use this tool to draw a rectangle in the drawing area; this rectangle will serve as the basic shape of the office chair's backrest. After drawing, press the F10 key on the keyboard to switch to the Shape Tool. Use the Shape Tool to select one of the rectangle's nodes and rotate it by dragging the node to adjust the rectangle's tilt angle, making it resemble the shape of an office chair backrest. This completes the initial step for the backrest.

Next, draw the backrest support. Use the Rectangle Tool again to draw a rectangle at an appropriate position below the backrest. The size and position of this rectangle should be determined based on the actual situation of the backrest. It functions to support the backrest, and through reasonable sizing and positioning, the backrest will appear stable and in line with the overall design.

Then, draw the seat cushion. Use the Rectangle Tool to draw another rectangle as the basic shape of the seat cushion. Similar to drawing the backrest, press the F10 key to switch to the Shape Tool, select one of the rectangle's nodes, and rotate it to adjust the angle of the seat cushion so that it matches the angle of the backrest, creating a comfortable sitting posture and making the overall shape of the office chair more natural and reasonable.

After that, draw the seat cushion support. Use the Rectangle Tool to draw a rectangle below the seat cushion as its supporting structure. The size and position of the seat cushion support should ensure it can stably support the seat cushion while coordinating with the overall design style, making all parts of the office chair appear as an organic whole.

Finally, draw the wheels. Locate the Ellipse Tool in the toolbar, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard, and use the Ellipse Tool to draw circles, which will serve as the wheels of the office chair. Draw an appropriate number and size of wheels according to actual needs and distribute them reasonably below the seat cushion support to complete the drawing of the office chair icon.
