Caster Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for a five-star base caster office chair are as follows:

I. Install the Casters Align the casters with the five leg holes of the five-star base. Insert them firmly or screw them in according to the design. Some casters may need to be installed by rotating. Ensure each caster is tightly connected to the five-star base to prevent looseness.
II. Install the Gas Lift and Five-Star Base Turn the five-star base over so that the front side faces up. Remove the protective cap from the top of the gas lift (if present). Insert the gas lift vertically into the central hole of the five-star base. Keep the gas lift vertical during insertion to ensure that the bottom of the gas lift is fully in contact with the five-star base, providing stable support for the subsequent installation of the seat cushion.
III. Install the Seat Base Place the seat cushion flat on a clean floor and confirm that the direction of the seat base matches that of the seat cushion (usually, the seat base has clear front and back markings). Use the provided screws to fix the seat base to the bottom of the seat cushion. When tightening the screws, do so in a cross-step manner to avoid uneven local stress that could cause the seat base to tilt.
IV. Connect the Seat Cushion and Gas Lift Lift the seat cushion with the installed seat base and align it with the top of the gas lift to insert it into the central hole of the seat base. Keep the seat cushion level during insertion and slowly press down until the gas lift is fully embedded in the seat base. Ensure that the seat cushion is firmly connected to the gas lift without any wobbling.
V. Install the Armrests According to the armrest design, align them with the installation holes on both sides of the seat cushion. Some armrests need to be installed in a front-back or left-right direction, so refer to the instruction manual to confirm the direction. When initially fixing the screws, do not tighten them completely to leave room for adjustment for the subsequent installation of the backrest.
VI. Install the Backrest Place the backrest behind the seat cushion and align the connection holes of the armrests and the backrest. First, install the screws on both sides at the bottom of the backrest and initially fix them. Then, lift the backrest and install the screws at the top. After all the screws are installed, gradually tighten them until they are fully fixed to ensure a tight connection between the backrest, seat cushion, and armrests.
VII. Install the Decorative Caps and Conduct a Detail Check Finally, install the decorative caps on the armrests to cover the screw holes and enhance the aesthetics. Check that all the screws are tightened, the casters rotate smoothly, the gas lift raises and lowers properly, and the backrest tilt function works normally. After confirming that there is no looseness or abnormality, the installation is complete.
Precautions:
- Clean the floor before installation to prevent debris from affecting the alignment of the components.
- Tighten the screws in a cross-step manner to prevent component deformation.
- If headrest installation is involved (such as for the Jinyexing A-10 model), insert the headrest into the reserved hole at the top of the backrest and fix it after the backrest installation is complete.
