Business Office Chair Installation
The installation steps for a business office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the chair base and casters Install each caster into the corresponding holes on the chair base (star-shaped base), ensuring that each caster is fully snapped in and not loose. After installation, insert the thicker end of the gas lift vertically into the central hole of the chair base, ensuring a firm connection between the gas lift and the base. The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height, so make sure it is installed in the correct direction to avoid tilting or detachment during subsequent use.
Step 2: Secure the seat plate and seat Place the seat plate at the bottom of the seat, paying attention to the orientation of the seat plate (usually, there will be markings on the seat plate indicating the front and back directions). After aligning the screw holes of the seat and the seat plate, use a screwdriver to gently screw each screw in 3 - 4 turns to ensure that all screws are initially fixed. Then, tighten each screw one by one. Avoid applying excessive force on one side in this step to prevent the seat plate and the seat from not fitting tightly.
Step 3: Connect the seat and the gas lift Align the seat with the installed seat plate with the top of the gas lift. Press down slowly to fully insert the gas lift into the central hole of the seat plate. Keep the seat level during insertion to prevent the gas lift from shifting and causing the seat to wobble. After insertion, gently shake the seat to test the stability of the connection.
Step 4: Install the backrest Align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the armrest installation slots on both sides of the seat and insert them vertically until the bottom catches are fully engaged. First, use screws to pass through from the bottom of the armrest brackets to fix the connection between the bottom of the backrest and the armrest brackets. Then, align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with the corresponding holes on the seat brackets and use a tool (such as a wrench) to tighten the screws, ensuring that the backrest and the seat brackets are not loose.
Step 5: Install the armrests Press the elastic buttons below the armrest surfaces (for some models, press both sides simultaneously). Align the left and right armrests with the holes on the armrest brackets and insert them vertically until the bottom catches are fully locked. After insertion, test whether the armrests can adjust their height or angle normally (if designed to do so) and confirm that there is no wobbling.
Step 6: Install the headrest Align the bottom of the headrest with the middle position at the top of the backrest and gently press the installation area of the headrest to make it fit more tightly with the backrest. Pass screws through the holes of the headrest fixing catches to lock the headrest to the backrest. After installation, you can adjust the position of the headrest up and down to ensure it meets ergonomic requirements.
Precautions:
- Avoid using excessive force during installation to prevent damage to parts or screw stripping.
- All screws should be tightened until they cannot be turned by hand, but do not apply excessive force to avoid thread wear.
- If the seat wobbles after installation, recheck the tightness of the connections between all parts.
