Buick Office Chair Base
There are multiple options for Buick office chair bases, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Here is a detailed introduction:
Low-Height Base
In terms of price, it is approximately 149 yuan, and in one case, it actually cost 139 yuan with free shipping. Its advantages are significant. The low height makes it very suitable for situations where there are drawers under the desk. After installation, the seat height is appropriate and can well fit such usage scenarios. However, it also has some notable disadvantages. The wheels are not very smooth, which makes it inconvenient to move the office chair and affects the ease of use. It is prone to paint peeling, which not only affects the appearance but may also affect the service life of the base over time. The installation fit is average, and more effort may be required to adjust it during the installation process. When you first get the base, it has a strong odor, but it will get better after a few days of ventilation.
Gas Lift Base
This base is equipped with components such as a tray, gas lift, five-star base with wheels, and an adapter bracket. Its advantages are prominent. It is easy to move and the seat height can be adjusted to meet the personalized needs of different users for seat height. At the same time, it has a high aesthetic appeal and can add a touch of elegance to the office environment. However, its disadvantage is that it is relatively expensive, costing about 280 yuan, which may not be very friendly to users with a limited budget.
Five-Star Base
It can be used to modify a Buick GL8 seat into a computer chair. There are relevant cases showing its application in actual modifications, but the specific advantages and disadvantages of this base are not detailed in the reference information.
Base with a Small Inclination
The base of the chair has a small inclination forward. This design ensures that the horizontal plane of the chair does not recess too much backward, allowing users to sit in an e-sports mode, which is suitable for users with e-sports needs. You can also choose the option of adding five-claw casters and an air pump, but this option tends to make the chair very high, and when sitting on it, your feet may be off the ground, which may not be suitable for some users who are used to a normal sitting posture.
