Bow-shaped Office Chair Renovation
The renovation of a bow-shaped office chair can be carried out in three steps: basic cleaning and maintenance, structural reinforcement and repair, and appearance renewal and transformation.

Basic cleaning and maintenance: Choose the cleaning method according to the material. For fabric chairs, first use a vacuum cleaner to remove surface dust. For stubborn stains, use a neutral detergent with a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub, and then dry with a dry cloth and avoid exposure to the sun. For leather chairs, use a special cleaner to wipe and then apply maintenance oil to prevent cracking. For mesh chairs, use a damp cloth to wipe the surface and a soft-bristled brush to clean the dust in the gaps. Focus on cleaning components such as casters, gas rods, and armrests. After disassembling them with a screwdriver, use a brush or damp cloth to clean the debris in the gaps to ensure that the components are free of dust accumulation.
Structural reinforcement and repair: Check whether the screws on the chair base, backrest, and armrests are loose. Tighten the loose screws with a matching screwdriver. If there is a screw-slipping phenomenon, replace them with screws of the same model. If the chair legs are loose or the structure is damaged, it is recommended to contact a professional repair technician for reinforcement to avoid reducing the chair's stability or causing further damage by operating it yourself. For key components such as gas rods, if there is air leakage or difficulty in lifting and lowering, replace them with new components in a timely manner to ensure safety in use.
Appearance renewal and transformation: If the chair frame is wooden, first sand it along the wood grain with sandpaper to remove the old paint and burrs, making the surface smooth. Then choose an appropriate wood paint (such as white Sanqing paint) and spray it three times, with an interval of 1-2 hours each time. Pay special attention to the gaps to avoid missing paint. For fabric chairs, you can replace them with elastic chair covers of the appropriate size and directly fix them on the backrest, which is both convenient and aesthetically pleasing. For leather chairs, if there is minor wear, use a touch-up paste for repair; for large-area wear, you can apply leather stickers or replace the fabric. In addition, you can enhance comfort by adding back cushions and lumbar pillows, or increase aesthetics by wrapping knitted covers around the armrests to give the chair a brand-new look.
