Bow-shaped Office Chair Adjustment
The adjustment methods for bow-shaped office chairs mainly fall into two categories: backrest adjustment and height adjustment. The specific operations are as follows:

Backrest Adjustment
There are usually two ways to adjust the backrest of a bow-shaped office chair, and users can choose the appropriate operation method based on the chair's design.
The first method is manual pressing adjustment: Some chairs have an elastic backrest design. Users can directly press the backrest backward with their hands, allowing it to tilt naturally with the body's pressure. These chairs are typically equipped with a limiting device. When the backrest tilts to a preset angle, the limiting structure will automatically lock, securing the backrest at the desired tilt angle. This design is suitable for scenarios where quick adjustment of sitting posture is required, but the fixed accuracy of the tilt angle may be limited by the limiting device.
The second method is adjustment lever control: Some chairs are equipped with a backrest angle adjustment lever on the side. To operate, first locate the adjustment lever (usually located near the connection between the backrest and the seat). Gently pull the adjustment lever outward, then lean back against the chair, and the backrest will tilt synchronously with the pressure. After adjusting to the ideal angle, release the adjustment lever, and the backrest will be fixed in its current position through internal catches or gear structures. This method allows for more precise angle adjustment and is suitable for users who need to maintain a specific sitting posture for a long time.
Height Adjustment
The height adjustment of a bow-shaped office chair is mainly achieved through the handle below the seat. The specific operation depends on the number of handles:
If the chair is equipped with only a single adjustment handle, to raise the seat, pull the handle upward, and the seat will rise with the help of a pneumatic rod or mechanical structure; to lower the height, the user needs to sit on the chair first and then pull the handle upward, and the seat will descend slowly under the body's weight.
If the chair is equipped with two adjustment handles, first distinguish their functions through the instruction manual or markings (some chairs are marked with 'H' or a height symbol). After confirming the height adjustment handle, the operation method is the same as that for a single-handle chair: pull the handle to raise the seat and pull it while sitting to lower the seat.
The core principle of height adjustment is to utilize theไผธ็ผฉ (telescopic) function of a pneumatic rod or coil spring and control the on/off state of the internal air valve or mechanical lock through the handle. During adjustment, avoid using excessive force to prevent damage to the pneumatic rod's seals or mechanical jamming.
Precautions
Before adjustment, ensure that all parts of the chair are not loose or damaged to avoid accidents during the adjustment process; when adjusting the backrest, maintain body balance to prevent falls due to sudden tilting; when adjusting the height, ensure that the distance between the seat and the ground is suitable for the natural bending of the legs (it is generally recommended that the seat height makes the thighs parallel to the ground). If the backrest cannot be fixed or the seat continues to slide down after adjustment, it may be due to internal structural wear, and after-sales service should be contacted for repair.
