Boss Office Chair Structure
The structure of a boss office chair mainly consists of two categories: basic components and high-end functional modules. The basic structure is the core that ensures fundamental usability, while the high-end functional modules further enhance comfort and intelligence levels.

Among the basic components, casters are typically made of PA material, supporting 360-degree omnidirectional rotation to ensure flexible and wear-resistant chair movement. The five-star base is mostly made of nylon, providing stable support and distributing body weight. The gas lift is crucial for height adjustment, achieving an 80mm travel range through compressed gas, and must meet explosion-proof standards internally for safety. The base plate is commonly made of metal, integrating a mechanical explosion-proof mechanism, connecting the gas lift to the seat, and bearing body pressure simultaneously; some base plates also feature tilt-lock functions, allowing for backrest angle adjustment. The seat consists of three layers: the bottom layer is a wooden board for support, the middle layer is sponge for added comfort, and the top layer can be made of linen, mesh, or leather, with leather appearing more upscale but requiring regular maintenance. The backrest frame is mostly made of steel or plastic, combined with mesh or leather wrapping, with some designs conforming to ergonomic curves to support the waist and back. Armrests come in various functions, with basic models being fixed and high-end models supporting 3D adjustment (up/down, forward/backward, rotation) to accommodate different sitting postures. The headrest is usually detachable, filled with high-elasticity sponge, providing neck support.
High-end boss chairs, such as the Livorno S02, add electric adjustment and health functions to the basic structure. Its four-motor independent control system separately controls the headrest, backrest, seat cushion, and leg rest: the headrest supports 0-60ยฐ electric adjustment, the backrest can recline from 95ยฐ to 160ยฐ, and when the leg rest is lifted with one button, the seat cushion moves forward simultaneously, forming a nearly flat lying position; the seat cushion can be electrically adjusted 8cm forward or backward to accommodate users with different leg lengths. The massage function is provided by 2 sets of 5 airbags covering the back, offering 3 intensity levels to relieve muscle fatigue; the lumbar heating function is achieved through built-in heating elements, with adjustable temperature, suitable for long hours of office work or cold environments. Additionally, a remote control and USB charging port are equipped on the side for convenient operation and device charging; the metal decorative strip features a glossy finish, enhancing the overall texture.
From a structural evolution perspective, boss chairs have evolved from a single support function to intelligence and health-oriented designs, with material selection balancing durability and comfort, and adjustment mechanisms upgrading from mechanical manual to electric precision control, reflecting the in-depth optimization of office furniture for user experience.
