Boss Office Chair Fixation

Admin October 16, 2026

The fixation of a boss office chair can be achieved through correct operation during installation and tightening when the backrest becomes loose. The specific methods are as follows:

Fixation during Installation

When installing a boss office chair, it is essential to follow the steps precisely to ensure stability. First, insert each chair wheel into the five-claw assembly holes one by one. After flipping the five-claw base, place the thicker end of the gas lift into the center hole of the five-claw base. Next, place the seat base onto the cushion, paying attention to its orientation. Align it with the four screw holes and then lightly tighten the four B screws by 3-4 turns each before fully tightening them one by one. This ensures a tight connection between the seat base and the cushion. Then, align the cushion with the gas lift and insert it into the hole in the seat base, ensuring it is fully inserted. After that, install the backrest by aligning the bottom sides of the backrest with the armrest installation positions on both sides of the cushion and inserting them. First, secure the bottom of the backrest with two C screws from the bottom of the armrest brackets. Then, align the installation holes on the back of the backrest with those on the cushion brackets and use two wrenches to lock the backrest to the cushion brackets with D screws. This will firmly attach the backrest to the cushion. For the armrests, press the buttons below the armrest surfaces and insert the left and right armrests into the holes in the armrest brackets respectively. Finally, install the headrest by placing it in the middle position at the top of the backrest, pressing the installation area of the headrest to make it fit more closely with the backrest, securing it with two E screws through the headrest fixing clips, and then lightly tightening the two screws by 3-4 turns each before fully tightening them. By following these installation steps, the boss office chair can achieve a relatively fixed state during initial installation.

Tightening a Loose Backrest

If the backrest of the boss office chair becomes loose, first check whether the screws connecting the backrest to the seat are loose. If they are, use an appropriate screwdriver to tighten them, being careful not to overtighten and strip the threads. Examine the connecting rod part of the backrest. If there is wear, consider replacing the connecting rod. If the gap is too large, add gaskets to increase friction and stability. Check whether the springs of the backrest are normal. If the springs have lost their elasticity or are loose, adjust their positions or replace them. In addition, apply an appropriate amount of lubricant to the contact area between the backrest and the seat to reduce friction, making the backrest move more smoothly and remain relatively fixed.
