Boss Office Chair Damage
Damage to the boss's office chair requires targeted handling based on the specific issue. For reputable brands, most faults can be resolved through after-sales service.

If the headrest position is cracked, it usually indicates a material or workmanship defect. If the product is still within the warranty period, you can contact the brand's after-sales service to request free repair or replacement of the headrest component. If the warranty has expired, you can inquire whether the after-sales service offers separate headrest replacement services or purchase a compatible headrest for installation yourself.
If the chair leans to one side when sitting on it, you need to first identify the cause. Damage to the gas lift is a primary cause, manifested by the chair leaning left or right, requiring replacement of the gas lift. Chassis failure, such as breakage or aging, can cause the chair to wobble or even lean, necessitating replacement of the chassis. Loosening at the connection of the five-star base can also lead to chair instability, requiring tightening of screws or replacement of components. Aging and air leakage of the gas rod can cause the chair to sink automatically, requiring replacement of the gas rod. Loose screws can give the chair a sense of displacement and leaning, requiring inspection and tightening of all screws. External factors such as uneven ground or worn chair feet can be resolved by adjusting the ground or replacing the chair feet.
If the chair experiences issues such as adjustment failure, abnormal noise, looseness, or inability to raise or lower properly, you can first contact the after-sales service team for remote fault diagnosis and guidance. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the brand will arrange for professional technicians to visit for on-site inspection and repair or guide users to send specific components (such as the gas lift, armrests, five-star base, casters, adjustment mechanisms, etc.) back for repair.
If the lifting function is damaged, you can attempt to replace the hydraulic rod yourself. First, raise the chair to its highest position and gently tap it with a hammer or other tool to separate the seat portion from the wheel frame and remove the old hydraulic rod. If you encounter resistance, lubricate it with lubricating oil before proceeding. Then, insert the new hydraulic rod into its original position and ensure it is securely installed. The replacement process requires significant force, so it is recommended to use a large hammer or other tools for assistance. Additionally, when purchasing a new hydraulic rod, ensure that its specifications and model match the chair.
