I. Basic Structure
The boss chair consists of eight basic components, including casters, a five-star base, a gas lift, and a chassis. Among them, the gas lift is the core component, which adjusts the seat height by compressing gas. It is essential to choose products that have passed safety certifications (such as SGS, BIFMA) to avoid explosion risks. The chassis connects the gas lift to the seat and must have sufficient load-bearing capacity; the stability of the five-star base support structure is influenced by the material, with metal being superior to plastic; the casters need to be suitable for carpets or hard floors, with some high-end models equipped with silent wheels.

II. Material Classification

1. Leather Types:

   • PU Leather/Genuine Leather: For example, the Xixia L6 uses top-grain genuine leather, which offers better breathability than PVC artificial leather but requires regular maintenance to prevent cracking; the Livorno S02 features European imported top-grain cowhide on contact surfaces and uses PVC on non-contact surfaces to reduce costs.
   • Eco-Leather: The Zuoguanjia T101 basic version uses eco-leather, which is a type of artificial leather. It is less expensive but slightly less durable. The top-grain cowhide version combines texture and breathability.

2. Mesh Types:
   Primarily made of high-elasticity polyester fiber or nylon mesh, these chairs offer excellent breathability, making them suitable for summer or prolonged use, commonly found in small task chairs. However, the mesh provides weaker support and needs to be used with a thickened seat cushion or lumbar support.

   • Armrest Adjustment: The Xixia L101 has three-stage adjustable armrests to meet the needs of keyboard operation or arm support.

3. Additional Features:

   • The Livorno S02 integrates massage (2 sets of 5 airbags covering the back) and heating (directed at the waist) functions, with 3 intensity levels adjustable; the Zuoguanjia T101 supports one-touch reclining and infinite angle adjustment.

IV. Safety and Health
Attention should be paid to the quality of the gas lift (to avoid explosions from inferior gas lifts), formaldehyde emissions (some leather models may exceed standards due to glue), and flame retardancy (public venues must comply with the GB/T 19501 standard). It is recommended to choose products that have passed national 3C certification or international safety standards and regularly check the seal of the gas lift.
