How to Use Baotou Office Chairs

Admin October 08, 2026

The usage method of Baotou office chairs is the same as that of office chairs in other regions. To use them correctly, adjustments should be made according to different functions, and usage norms should be followed.

  1. Seat Height Adjustment
Locate the control lever beneath the chair. Push it up or down to raise or lower the seat. When raising the seat, release the lever to lock the lifting rod in place. Ensure that your feet are flat on the ground, with your thighs and lower legs forming an approximately 90-degree angle to prevent leg suspension or excessive bending that could impede blood circulation.

  2. Seat Angle Adjustment
Adjust the height of the front part of the seat using the control lever at the front bottom of the chair. Raising it tilts the seat forward, suitable for desk work; lowering it reclines the seat to relieve lower back pressure. After adjustment, ensure the seat is stable to prevent instability due to excessive tilt angles.

  3. Backrest Tilt Adjustment

    • Knob Adjustment: Rotate the knob at the bottom of the chair to gradually adjust the backrest tilt to a comfortable angle.
    • Lever Adjustment: Use the side lever to push up or down to change the backrest angle. Some models require continuous pressing of the lever to secure the position.
    • Pneumatic Rod Adjustment: High-end models may be equipped with a pneumatic rod. Follow the instructions to achieve stepless adjustment through pneumatic control.
After adjustment, ensure the backrest fits the curve of your lower back, maintaining the natural curvature of the spine and avoiding prolonged periods in the same position.
  4. Armrest Adjustment

    • Height Adjustment: Rotate the knob beneath the armrest, pull the adjustment lever, or press the button to adjust the armrest to a height level with your naturally hanging elbows, reducing shoulder pressure.
    • Angle Adjustment: Some armrests support forward or backward and left or right rotation. Follow the instructions to meet different scenario needs such as typing or reading.
  5. Lumbar Support Adjustment

    • Up and Down Adjustment: Rotate the knob or pull the adjustment lever beneath the lumbar support pad to align it with the depression in your lower back.
    • Forward and Backward Adjustment: Some models support fine-tuning the forward and backward position of the support pad to accommodate users of different body types.
After adjustment, ensure the support pad fits your lower back to prevent fatigue caused by suspension.
  6. Seat Depth Adjustment (High-End Models)
Rotate the knob or pull the adjustment lever beneath the seat to adjust its front-to-back position, ensuring your thighs are fully in contact with the front edge of the seat to prevent leg suspension or pressure on the back of the knees.

  7. Rotating the Chair
If the chair is equipped with a rotatable component at the bottom, sit on the chair and twist the base with both hands to rotate left or right, facilitating communication with colleagues or accessing items.

Usage Precautions:

  • Avoid sitting still for long periods. It is recommended to get up and move for 5-10 minutes every hour.
  • If equipped with a headrest, adjust it to support the back of your neck to prevent forward head posture.
  • Regularly check the stability of chair components (such as the pneumatic rod and wheels) to ensure safe usage.
