Automatic Office Chair Motor
The characteristics of motors in automatic office chairs vary depending on the type, mainly including high-torque DC motors, linear motors, and brushless DC motors, each with unique performance to meet different adjustment needs.

The motors in electric office chairs are primarily high-torque DC motors, which work in conjunction with precision gear transmission systems to achieve smooth adjustments. These motors are driven by direct current and output high torque, enabling them to easily lift or adjust the angle of components such as the seat and backrest. The precision gear transmission system further optimizes power transmission efficiency, converting the motor's rotational motion into linear or angular changes while reducing noise through multi-stage gear engagement, ensuring a nearly silent adjustment process. Additionally, the high-torque characteristic allows the motor to maintain stable output despite load variations (such as differences in user weight), avoiding stuttering or shaking, while the wear-resistant design of the precision gears extends the overall service life, making it suitable for high-frequency office use.
Some high-end models, such as the Haibaidiao X7, use a combination of linear motors and dedicated chips to achieve precise dynamic control of the lumbar support. Linear motors (linear actuators) directly convert electrical energy into linear motion, eliminating the need for the complex structure of traditional rotary motors with transmission mechanisms, resulting in faster response times and higher positioning accuracy. The A-computing-power chip equipped in this model performs high-speed calculations to analyze user sitting posture data in real-time (such as lumbar pressure distribution), driving the linear motor to adjust the lumbar support position with micrometer-level precision, providing personalized support. This design is particularly suitable for office or gaming scenarios where maintaining correct sitting posture for extended periods is required, effectively alleviating lumbar fatigue.
The brushless DC motors in electric row chairs achieve low-speed, high-torque output through planetary gear reducers. Brushless DC motors are inherently efficient and long-lasting, with their rotors directly driving the sun gear of the planetary gear reducer. The reducer adopts a three-stage transmission structure, reducing the motor's high-speed rotation of 3,000 revolutions per minute to a linear speed of 2 centimeters per second on the seat surface through multiple reductions by the internal gear ring and planetary gears. This design ensures sufficient driving force (capable of moving multiple rows of seats simultaneously) while avoiding noise and vibration caused by high-speed operation, making it suitable for conference rooms, theaters, and other scenarios requiring synchronized adjustment of multiple rows of seats.
