Aurora Office Chair Disassembly
For the disassembly of the Aurora office chair, you can refer to the following general steps for disassembling a computer chair:

Prepare Tools
Before starting to disassemble the Aurora office chair, you need to prepare the appropriate tools to ensure a smooth disassembly process. Commonly used tools include a wrench for turning larger-sized screws and nuts; screwdrivers, which come in two typesโcross-head and flat-head. Choose the appropriate one based on the shape of the screw for disassembling the screws that fix various components; and a rubber mallet, which can be used to gently tap components such as the base during disassembly to help separate them and avoid damaging the components with a metal hammer.
Disassemble Components
To facilitate subsequent disassembly operations, first perform a preliminary disassembly of the main components such as the backrest, seat, and armrests. Observe the structure of the office chair, find the joints or screw fixation points that connect these components, and make a preliminary judgment on how to separate them. However, do not rush to completely remove them at this time. Instead, make marks so that they can be accurately repositioned during subsequent installation.
Disassemble the Seat
Use a screwdriver to find the screws that fix the seat. Usually, these screws are located at the connection between the seat and the base. Turn the screws counterclockwise with the screwdriver and remove them one by one. During the disassembly process, pay attention to keeping the screws safe to avoid losing them. If the screws are difficult to turn, you can appropriately use some lubricants, such as WD - 40, spray them on the screws, and wait a few minutes before trying to turn them again.
Disassemble the Backrest and Armrests
Also use a screwdriver to find the connecting screws between the backrest and armrests and the base or other components. Turn the screws counterclockwise and carefully separate the backrest and armrests from the base. During the disassembly process, pay attention to the fact that there may be some wires or connectors on the backrest and armrests. If it is an electric office chair, pay special attention to avoiding damaging the wires.
Disassemble the Base
For the disassembly of the base, if the hydraulic lift rod is firmly installed, you can turn the chair upside down and place it on a soft surface, such as a carpet or foam pad, to prevent scratching the floor and chair components. Then use a rubber mallet to strike hard around the bottom steel ring of the base, and then try to pry the base. Repeat this operation until the base can be removed. If the base is broken or rusted, you can first spray some loosening agents and wait a while before striking and prying. During the disassembly process, pay attention to protecting your hands to avoid being scratched by sharp components.
