Assembly of Reclining Office Chair
The steps for assembling a reclining office chair (taking the S800 computer chair as an example) are as follows:

Install the Five-Star Base and Gas Lift
Place the five-star base upside down and insert the five casters into the holes of the base one by one, ensuring that the casters are fully embedded and rotate smoothly. Then, insert the gas lift (with the thick end facing down) into the center hole of the five-star base and press lightly until it is fully secured. Note: Choose a gas lift that meets safety standards to avoid safety hazards caused by using inferior products.Secure the Seat Plate and Cushion
Align the seat plate with the screw holes on the bottom of the cushion. Use four fine screws (usually M6 size) for initial fixation, and then tighten the screws in a diagonal order with a wrench to ensure a firm and stable connection between the seat plate and the cushion. Key Point: The screws must be fully screwed in to prevent them from loosening due to vibration during subsequent use.Connect the Gas Lift and Seat Plate
Align the central hole of the seat plate with the top of the gas lift and press down vertically until the gas lift is fully embedded in the seat plate. Operation Tip: If the connection between the gas lift and the seat plate is not smooth, slightly rotate the seat plate to adjust the angle and avoid forcing the press, which may damage the components.Install the Armrests
Unscrew the two built-in nuts and washers on the armrests for later use. Align the armrests with the screw holes on both sides of the backrest, insert the washers and screws one by one, and then initially fix them with the nuts. Finally, tighten the nuts with a wrench to ensure a tight and symmetrical connection between the armrests and the backrest. Note: The height of the armrests should be level with the cushion to avoid affecting comfort during use.Secure the Backrest and Seat Plate
Align the bottom of the backrest with the screw holes on the seat plate, insert the washers and three coarse screws (usually 8x25 size) one by one, and tighten the screws in a diagonal order with a wrench. Safety Tip: The backrest is the main load-bearing component, so ensure that the screws are fully screwed in and there is no thread slippage.Function Testing
After assembly, test whether all functions are normal:
- Backrest Adjustment: Pull it to the highest position and it can reset, supporting multi-angle locking;
- Armrest Adjustment: It can move forward and backward, rotate left and right, and be folded at 90ยฐ;
- Cushion Adjustment: It supports sliding forward and backward to accommodate different leg lengths;
- Footrest and Lumbar Support: Check whether the footrest extends and retracts smoothly and whether the spring support of the dual-wing lumbar support is flexible.
Additional Note: The assembly steps may vary for different models of office chairs (for example, in the Luban Jiajia tutorial, the backrest and seat frame need to be fixed with a wrench lock). It is recommended to refer to the product manual or installation video first. If you lack tools or have doubts about the steps, you can contact after-sales personnel for assistance.
