The assembly of office chair components can be carried out according to the following steps:

Step 1: Install the five-star base and wheels
The five-star base is the supporting foundation of the office chair and should be installed first. Insert each chair wheel into the assembly holes of the five-claw (five-star base). Pick up the universal wheels, align them with the holes of the five-star base, and press firmly to complete the installation. Install all five wheels in sequence. During installation, ensure that the wheels are tightly connected to the five-star base to avoid looseness that may affect usage stability.

Step 2: Install the gas lift
The gas lift is the core component for adjusting the seat height. Place the thicker end of the gas lift against the center hole of the five-claw base, or first put it into the center hole of the five-star base and then insert it into the center hole of the seat base. After that, flip the seat base upright. Pay attention to the installation direction of the gas lift in this step. The thick end should face downwards to connect with the five-star base, and the thin end should face upwards for subsequent connection with the seat plate.

Step 3: Install the seat plate and cushion
The seat plate is the key structure connecting the gas lift and the cushion. Place the seat plate on the cushion, paying attention to the orientation of the seat plate (usually indicated by markings). After aligning it with the four screw holes, screw in the four screws lightly for 3 - 4 turns one by one, and then tighten them gradually to ensure that the seat plate is firmly fixed to the cushion. Alternatively, you can install the seat plate under the seat board and use four long screws to attach it to the base. After that, align the cushion with the gas lift and insert it into the hole of the seat plate. Keep it vertical during insertion to avoid damaging the internal structure of the gas lift.

Step 4: Install the backrest
The installation method of the backrest varies depending on the design. A common method is to align the two sides at the bottom of the backrest with the installation positions of the armrests on both sides of the cushion and insert them. First, use two screws to fix the bottom of the backrest from the bottom of the armrest brackets, and then align the installation holes at the back of the backrest with those on the cushion brackets. Use two wrenches to lock the screws in place. Another method is to insert the backrest obliquely into the pins of the seat and then attach the cover fabric to the pins. During installation, ensure that the backrest is firmly connected to the cushion without any wobbling.

Step 5: Install the armrests
Press the button below the armrest surface and insert the left and right armrests into the holes of the armrest brackets respectively, ensuring they are fully inserted. For some designs, you need to use No. 3 screws to fix the armrests to the brackets. In this case, use tools to tighten the screws to prevent the armrests from loosening.

Step 6: Install the headrest
Place the headrest in the middle position at the top of the backrest, press the installation part of the headrest to make it fit the backrest better, and use two screws to pass through the headrest fixing buckles to fix the headrest. First, screw in the screws lightly for 3 - 4 turns, and then tighten them one by one to ensure that the headrest is firmly installed and in the center position.
