Any-Angle Office Chair

Admin October 09, 2026

The rotation and recline angle adjustment functions of office chairs vary depending on their type.

Rotation Angle

Swivel chairs are a common type of office chair, which can be divided into two categories based on their rotation angle. Semi-swivel chairs have a rotation range of 90 degrees to the left and right, providing a total of 180 degrees of rotation space. This design is typically suitable for scenarios requiring limited range of motion, such as beside conference tables or workstations where frequent communication with neighboring seats is needed. It meets basic turning needs while avoiding space occupation or safety hazards caused by excessive rotation. Full-swivel chairs, on the other hand, support 360-degree unrestricted rotation, allowing users to adjust their direction freely without moving the chair itself to complete turning actions. This design is more suitable for scenarios requiring flexible adjustment of sitting posture or frequent changes in work direction, such as open office areas or positions requiring multitasking.

Recline Angle Adjustment

Some ergonomic office chairs incorporate a multi-position recline angle adjustment function in addition to basic rotation capabilities to meet usage needs in different scenarios. Taking the Qingxian Pro as an example, its recline adjustment is divided into five positions:

  • 105-degree upright sitting position: A nearly vertical sitting posture suitable for scenarios requiring focus, such as writing, reading, or fine operations. It effectively reduces fatigue caused by leaning forward.
  • 125-degree working position: A slightly reclined sitting posture suitable for short breaks or mild relaxation while maintaining eye contact with the computer screen, ideal for intermittent adjustments during long hours of office work.
  • 160-degree extreme recline position: An angle close to lying flat, suitable for lunch breaks or deep relaxation. It can relieve pressure on the waist and back, but care should be taken to use it in a safe environment to avoid tipping over due to excessive recline.

In addition, some high-end office chairs support stepless adjustment or dynamic locking functions, allowing users to stay at any angle according to their needs, further enhancing flexibility and comfort in use. These designs not only meet the diverse needs of office scenarios but also reflect the ergonomic focus on healthy sitting postures.
