Anji is the world's largest production base for office chairs, with an extremely developed office chair OEM industry and numerous well-known OEM enterprises.

Anji is hailed as the "Hometown of China's Chair Industry" and is the world's largest production base for office chairs. One out of every three chairs in China is made in Anji, and its export volume accounts for more than half of the national total. The production areas of ergonomic chairs in the Yangtze River Delta region are mainly concentrated in Anji County, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, where many large OEM factories are gathered.

Numerous well-known OEM enterprises:

  • UE Furniture: Its OEM brands include IKEA, Staple, NITORI, ITOKI, Okamura, HON, AIS, The Office Depot, etc. It serves both retail giants such as Staples, Home Depot, and IKEA, as well as well-known ergonomic chair brands like Okamura and ITOKI. Some products of NetEase Yanxuan and JD Jingzao are also OEMed by UE Furniture. In addition to its headquarters in Anji, UE Furniture has also established production bases in Vietnam and Romania.
  • Henglin: Its OEM brands include IKEA, Staple, NITORI, Conforama, Ashley, Argos, The Office Depot, etc. Its customer base has a high degree of overlap with that of UE Furniture, such as IKEA, Staples, Home Depot, and NITORI.
