810 Office Chair Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of the 810 office chair can be carried out by referring to the following steps:

Step 1: Check the Parts Before installation, carefully check all the parts to ensure that the quantity is complete and there is no damage. The main parts include: 5 casters, 1 pressure lift rod, 1 five-star base, 1 control lift mechanism tray, and 1 seat. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact the supplier promptly for replacement to avoid interruption during installation.

Step 2: Install the Tray Turn the chair upside down so that the bottom faces up. Locate the fixing screws (usually 4) under the seat cushion and use a screwdriver to remove them all. Align the control lift mechanism tray with the mounting holes on the bottom of the seat cushion. After ensuring that the buckles or screw holes are aligned, reinsert the screws and tighten them. Note: The direction of the tray should be consistent with the direction of use of the seat to avoid abnormal lift function later.

Step 3: Install the Casters Place the five-star base flat on the ground. Align the 5 casters one by one with the five end slots of the five-star base and press them firmly until you hear a 'click' sound, confirming that the casters are firmly embedded. Key Point: All casters must be installed in place to avoid wobbling or jamming when the chair moves due to looseness.

Step 4: Connect the Pressure Lift Rod and the Seat Place the five-star base in the upright position. Insert the thicker end with a hole of the pressure lift rod vertically into the center hole of the five-star base, ensuring it is fully inserted without gaps. Then, align the seat with the installed tray with the top end of the pressure lift rod and slowly press down until the seat is firmly engaged with the gas rod. Safety Tip: This step requires two people to work together or use tools for assistance to prevent the seat from tipping over.

Step 5: Function Check and Adjustment After installation, sit lightly on the chair, hold the lift control handle on the side of the tray with your hand, and press it up and down to test whether the lift function is smooth. At the same time, check whether the casters rotate flexibly and whether the connection between the seat and the five-star base is firm. If you find that the lift is stuck or the chair wobbles, recheck whether all parts are installed properly.

Alternative Installation Sequence (Optional) Some models support step-by-step installation: First, fix the armrests on both sides of the seat cushion (using the provided screws), then install the connection mechanism between the backrest and the seat cushion. Next, insert the casters into the five-star base, insert the gas rod, and then insert the upper part of the chair body into the gas rod as a whole and lock it. This method is suitable for models with more parts or when the backrest angle needs to be adjusted separately.
