801 Office Chair Installation

Admin October 11, 2026

The installation steps for the 801 office chair are as follows:

Step 1: Install the Left and Right Armrests and Chair Back Use an L-wrench along with short, medium-length, and long screws for the operation. Align the armrests with the corresponding holes on the chair frame and initially secure them with medium-length screws. Note that one screw on each armrest should not be fully tightened; only tighten them halfway. If tightened completely in advance, subsequent installation of the chair back may be hindered by limited space, making it difficult to align the holes.

Step 2: Secure the Chair Frame to the Seat Cushion Place the chair frame on the seat cushion, ensuring that the holes on both are perfectly aligned, and then secure them with long screws. If the armrest screws were fully tightened in Step 1, loosen them slightly first. Otherwise, the chair back may not be able to be inserted smoothly during installation due to the small gap between the armrests and the chair frame.

Step 3: Align the Holes on the Armrests and Chair Back Align the holes on the armrests with those on the back of the chair. If direct alignment is difficult, lay the chair on its side, lift the armrests, and gently bend the chair back to adjust the angle and make the holes coincide. After confirming alignment, use the remaining screws to fully secure the connection between the armrests and the chair back. Ensure all screws are tightened to the point where they cannot wobble to guarantee structural stability.

Step 4: Install the Headrest Align the headrest with the reserved space at the top of the chair back and press firmly to embed it completely. After installation, adjust the height of the headrest up or down to a comfortable position. Maintain even pressure during adjustment to avoid the headrest falling off or damaging the buckle due to excessive force.

Precautions:

  1. Regularly check the firmness of the connections between all components during installation, especially the tightness of the screws, to prevent loosening during use.
  2. If hole misalignment occurs, prioritize adjusting the angle of the chair or gently bending the components to resolve the issue, avoiding forced installation that could damage the parts.
  3. Test the headrest adjustment function after installation to ensure the buckle locks properly, preventing accidental slippage during use.

By following these steps, you can systematically assemble the 801 office chair, ensuring a sturdy structure and normal functionality.
